The chisel arrived sharp although I gave it a little hone to sharpen it further, it also comes with a blade protector which is good and stays on while getting bumped around in the tool bag.

Top quality Irwin 1 inch wood chisel which is comfortable to use and has strike through features which protect the handle. The chisel arrived sharp although I gave it a little hone to sharpen it further, it also comes with a blade protector which is good and stays on while getting bumped around in the tool bag.
