Worked perfectly first and time seems to be durable. I could not detect any background noise as a result of using this power adapter.

Works for powering my pedal board
I lost my psu for my pedal board, but knew a 1.7A center tip negative should work - and it does. I have five pedals working perfectly with this.

Chinese Built (questionable reliability)
It's just a cheap, 9V power supply with enough current to power on a handful of guitar pedals. The wall wart itself is very lightweight which tells me it has a cheap@$$ transformer boosted by a digital circuit for power conversion. This is not as reliable as a nice, hefty transformer with an analog FET control circuit. I wouldn't trust it for a working rig (anything that pays money for you to play) but for screwing around in my jam room it works fine.
