Whilst I have many years of experience using angle grinders with discs and flapwheels, I had never used this type of product before so was somewhat skeptical of how it would perform. Upon receipt I noted the 'nylon' type 'woven' construction that is impregnated with some form of bonding resin which provides the high-density structure stated in the description. To be honest whilst I found the discs to be of a good quality, I was apprehensive regarding their effectiveness and longevity. Boy was my apprehension misplaced! These discs are remarkably hard wearing, rapidly stripping multiple layers of paint with just a light 'scuffing' of the steel below. This is all done with the minimum of heat generation and I always felt in complete control of the tool. No digging in or tracking off in any direction other than where I wanted to go. As for longevity? After around 3 hours of use the first (and only) disc used is showing minmal wear to the leading edge. Oh, and as for clogging, nothing. Not once did the disc become bogged down or require cleaning. I'm not easily impressed with modern takes of existing products, but these strip discs are simply head and shoulders above the more conventional wire wheels/flapwheels. 10/10 Review: Good quality - Surprisingly good.
