I’m kind of particular about my bed linens, including hygiene and laundering. I’ve always double-cased my bed pillows to make sure none of the pillow’s surface is exposed. This is tedious when change linens, however, and I knew that regular pillow cases didn’t exactly offer impermeable protection anyway. So, I decided to shop for a good sanitary AND comfty pillow protector that wouldn’t break the bank—and these are it. Other commenters have noted some stiffness and discomfort. I’d say that is pretty minimal. In fact, I found them surprisingly soft and comfortable when mine arrived, both compared to other dust- and moisture-proof cases I’ve seen as well as standard bed linen pillow cases. I ordered more for all my bed pillows, which I put on under 1 pillow case.
