It is cleverly made, with some downward facing feathers that are so useful for awkward surfaces such as the tops of spherical lampshades. 2. The feathers are soft and allow a very gentle sweeping action over delicate areas (e.g. those with lots of small items such as photos and ornaments). 3. I was originally just going to buy a short handled duster, but the telescopic handle is brilliant for the high ceilings etc, in my dusty Victorian house.

**Q: Does the pole have varying lengths or is it just one length of 200cm?**
A: It is a fixed length.  They are not very generous with the feathers so that there aren't many softer ones around the central stiffer core.

**Q: How long are the feathers please?**
A: Full length adult  bird feathers. I am on my second. 
Great value for the quality 
 My friend paid double for the same at a high end store. 
Great long handle that reaches our very high ceiling in the hallway.

**Q: Are the Ostrich's harmed in making this product?**
A: I don’t know but I wouldn’t recommend this product.  Mine fell apart bit by bit (or feather by feather) within a very short time.

**Q: What is the length of the duster when fully extended?**
A: 200cm

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Feathers didn't smell like they'd been cleaned

I love the product (now) but on on receipt it absolutely stank. I thought it was of petrol, but on further consideration it was more likely to be ostrich poop! A good dunking in soapy (cheap fairy knock off) water and left propped up in the bath to air dry, and the smell has gone! One star deducted for the smell as it was fixable, but awful. It's a natural product so maybe I'm naive thinking it'd be cleaned feathers. Anyway, works well as a soft duster and I can reach the ceiling corner over the couch now. Brilliant.
