Received them and was impressed from the get-go by the build quality. The colors were vibrant, seemed like they'll last, and the hooks top notch.Fast forward a couple weeks and I'm able to get on the water about 240' deep. I had lost my swimbait so I decided to slap the Black and Gold on...I couldn't even touch the bottom floor without hooking on! Caught several rockfish in the 3-5# class and limited out at 10 fish in such a short time it felt like cheating. The length of the hooks is perfect, not too long that you'll miss strikes.Fast forward two more weeks and I went out to sea again. After playing with swimbaits, I put the same color on and just kept catching fish after fish. I let my fellow angler use the orange color scheme and he was producing as well.Overall, I'm surprised by the effectiveness of these lures.
