It'll be fine for my needs but I think will still need some of the smaller chips for my smaller propagations. I found it had little to no odour and holds onto moisture as well as any other coconut husk chippings. If you're an owner of many houseplants and you make your own soil mixes for bulk repotting, then I think overall it's a additive for soil and it's good value for money compared to buying 12L at a time.
