Review: Flat batteries - A little disappointed to find that the batteries that came with the unit were flat and wouldn’t power the unit. Once batteries were changed everything was fine.
Review: I had to weigh up getting in a gas professional to diagnose severity and location of a possible leak and buying this product.. I did the latter, because I was not prepared to wait. I'm glad I did - old gas oven was leaking past 10mill PPM. Turned off at the mains. No other leaks. Really glad I bought into the tool and took care of it myself. I also appeciate having low or high sensitivity. Only criticism would be I'd like a high PPM for the big leak, but really trivial when it's designed for finding small leaks, more than anything.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does this detect hydrogen sulfide?**
A: you will have to call them.  1-800-553-4676.  I was unable to find any info. methane, butane and propane and others*  but that doesnt say H2S specifically.

**Q: Can it be used for car?**
A: It will detect gasoline fumes but is not a carbon monoxide detector.

**Q: Will this detect hydrogen**
A: No

**Q: Will it work for r290 refrigerant?**
A: Although I have never tried it on refrigerant. The unit is made to detect combustible gasses. As is stated in the specs.
