**Q: is this waterproof? are you able to  install  in the shower or outside in a dry spot?**
A: Yes, it is waterproof in the way it is designed to be installed in your shower enclosure so that you don't have to get out the shower to be dry. However, it is also possible to install outside the shower too.

**Q: What is the URL rating?**
A: I was unable to have this device installed as it needed a 220v connection. I live in an older building and my panel did not have any extra 220 slots. I think I've waited too long to return it. It sits in its box even as I write this. Amazon, if you are monitoring this, can I hear whether it is too late?
