We used it on our basement walls and about 2 inches of the floor where is met the walls. We used about 6 coats. It went on very easy. I would use it on a floor if I were coating it with some other layer- seeing as it is tacky and even when dry it is still rubbery in a way that would not be easy to sweep. **Q: Can you paint over this? How about applying stucco finish over it?** A: i,m not sure if you can paint over it,i didn,t have good luck with this product,applied over concrete wouldn,t stick,water leaked right through. **Q: Can you use this for a liner of a stock tank that I turned into a swimming pool? And does it feel like rubber on your skin?** A: It's noy recommended for use in pools but we have had customers do it. It does end up with somewhat of a rubbery feel. If you do use it, keep in mind everything above the waterline must be top coated because it is UV sensitive. **Q: does this product work well on brick? -- I have seepage in a basement that has brick wall (seepage is not to bad)** A: Yes, it will adhere to brick just fine. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good roof primer! *by on Reviewed in the United States 2 July 2026* This served as a primer for an elastomeric coating, over a weathered modified bitumen roof. It's important that you clean the surface first with a soft wash or light pressure wash to get rid of any accumulated gunk that may block adhesion. But once you've got a dry & clean surface, this stuff sticks like, well, glue. I laid down two coats several days apart. It dried / cured fairly quickly, so I was able to walk on it after 24 hours (after each coat). Rain doesn't seem to hurt it after it's had a few hours of initial cure time. Just get it good and dry before re-coating. I'm now finish coating it with AMES Elastomeric white roof coating, with good results so far. ### ⭐ Not as advertised. *by on Reviewed in the United States 19 July 2026* Pretty bad. I bought it to cover plywood rooftop of a walkway I built. I put on one coat and it was still cracking and dried up. I went back over the seams with a thick blob coat and it was still not holding together. It got hard in the sun and dried and cracked. I ended up having to buy sheet metal for the roof because this blue Max didn't do the job. Now I'm stuck with 5 gallon bucket of it and don't know what to do ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pet stained subfloor *by on Reviewed in the United States 9 February 2026* I actually used this to seal my subfloors after attempting to neutralize pet stains. The stains were the worst! This product is amazing, easy to use, very easy to clean up.
