Consisting of a valve and an adjustable spring, this valve will open automatically to limit the maximum depression in a plastic drum used with a cyclone separator and protect it from entrapment. The spring should be adjusted so that the valve remains closed during normal use and only opens when the suction hose or nozzle becomes clogged. This valve is recommended for the use of DUST COMMANDER CLC, DLX and HD models mounted on plastic drums (60 l max recommended). This valve is not usable for use with our DUST COMMANDER XL and XL+ filters because the vacuum generated by HVLP (high volume, low pressure) systems is not sufficient to cause the collapse of a plastic or kraft vessel.
