## Features

- 【Hidden Device Control】This TV remote extender lets your IR remote control operate the Blu-ray player, DVD player, STB box, receiver, CATV box, or other A/V source hidden behind a wall-mounted TV, cabinet, or closet. A practical choice for clean home theatre setups and TV accessories
- 【IR Signal Repeater】The IR sensor receives commands from your handheld remote, while the IR blaster / IR transmitter sends the signal to your source device. This remote control extender helps restore control when the device’s front panel is blocked or not in direct line of sight
- 【USB-Powered IR Extender Kit】This IR extender kit uses a USB IR receiver power lead for 5V power only; it is NOT a computer USB data receiver. The included adhesive IR cable ends make it easy to position the receiver and emitter neatly around TVs, cabinets, and media consoles
- 【Wide IR Remote Compatibility】This infrared remote control extender works with most A/V devices using infrared signals, including common 30–60KHz IR remote systems. 30 degree IR Receiver angle provides plenty of leeway to get the right angle with your remote. Ideal for IR remote setups with set-top boxes, media players, receivers, and other home entertainment devices
- *【Important Setup Notes】For reliable reception, mount the IR sensor / receive with the indicator-light side facing your handheld remote; do not place it flat with the tail/end pointed at the remote. NOT compatible with RF remotes; avoid bright sunlight, CFL bulbs, or Wi-Fi routers near the receiver

## Questions & Answers

**Q: How far can the IR extender transmit the signal?**
A: The IR extender supports a 15 ft IR signal range, allowing reliable control of your devices even at a distance of up to 15 feet.

**Q: What should I avoid to ensure optimal performance of the IR extender?**
A: To ensure optimal performance, avoid placing the IR extender near Wi-Fi routers, bright sunlight, or CFL bulbs, as these may cause interference with the IR signal.

**Q: Why doesn’t the IR extender cable work?**
A: Ensure the USB power is working. The USB port on most TVs doesn’t supply power when off. Also, confirm your equipment and remote use IR signals, as this extender is not compatible with RF signals.

**Q: Why does the IR extender cable work only at a short distance?**
A: Ensure your IR receiver is positioned correctly. The receiver should face directly toward you (the blue LED should face forward). Avoid placing the receiver with the LED facing upward to achieve better signal strength.

**Q: Does this IR extender support RF remotes?**
A: No, it only supports devices with IR sensors and does not work with RF remote-controlled equipment.
