I guess this book has helped empower me and really given me alot of hope and reassurance that it's about being independent, sassy and as they say "a creature like no other!". I admit some of it can be hard to implement but i'm going to keep re-reading it and reminding myself IT WORKS and to keep following it! I have already noticed by holding back a little, the more certain men seem to pursue/call/text. It's fantastic! It's annoying if you feel you break a rule but we get better with practise, and the great thing is at least now we can see where the rule-breaking is happening, whereas alot of women out there are still in denial! We are an intelligent bunch of rules girls ;). I really look forward to using this and seeing where it leads now, and even more so in the new year! Some of what you read in the book you relate to so much and think "omg that sounds like me", or "wow, my best boy mate is like that!" and it gives great advice how to act rationally rather than emotionally to ensure we get that ring on our finger! All in all, it's girly, insightful and very empowering :) I already can see the men that are worth it now and the ones that clearly aren't!! FANTASTIC- BUY IT!! Also how to behave and act in such a way that the guy sees the best you. ITs about giving men what they need, not what they want i.e. they may WANT to sleep with you but they NEED to work for it; and after they have worked for it, they will value you more than if you took a chance. Thats a very basic and obvious example but the book, I found, answered a lot of romances questions. "why isn't he calling me.. why does he do x or y.. why can't i meet the right guy" etc I think if you're looking to settle down and not jump from one guy to the next this book shows you how to conduct yourself in such a way that shows off your best assets! But as I had just got out of a long term relationship and had spare time on my hands and also with the constant torment of my friend in my ear about it I gave in. I went on Amazon and ordered a copy. I wanted to read it to see what all the fuss was about. In all fairness to the book it does make a lot of sense and is quiet an interesting book to read. It does make you think about your own dating techniques and you do question them. At the time I was more interested in having fun with my friends and enjoying life but did notice that if I was out and about and spoke to guys it was a different me. I had more confidence in myself. Whether this was down to actually getting ME back from a really bad relationship or the book. I like to think a bit of both. My opinion of the whole dating scene and communication with guys changed and...................................... Here I am today in a wonderful relationship. Getting married next year and have just had my beautiful little girl. OK I didn't follow the rules EXACTLY lol Even if this book gives us girls a bit more confidence and educates us on the whole dating scene well why not give it a try.
