When I saw that shoes were finally available I was eager to try them. The material is very interesting, I like the shimmer. However I was disappointed when my toes hit the front of the shoe, and the shoes and were uncomfortable after just a few minutes so I returned them. Other reviewers have commented that this brand runs small but I didn't see such comments for this style. Buyers beware, order at least a half size larger. It does have light arch support but I was so preoccupied with my toe hitting the front I didn't notice if the arch support was adequate. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ comfy, great looking, and tough (and the shoes fit great too!) *by K***G on Reviewed in the United States on December 5, 2016* True, when I first put these on they were a little tight and funny-feeling. The shoes came with a note saying this might happen, and it would dissipate, which it did. Now these shoes are more comfortable than my tennis shoes, and I take my dogs for walks in them. The red gloss faux patent finish is very resilient. I am always scuffing my feet on the sidewalk because of my galumphing dog, and the shoes still look new. The scuffs that are on the bottom of the toe area have not compromised the structural integrity of the shoes. I am very hard on shoes, especially ballet flats, which are usually cheaply made, even if expensive. These shoes are pricey for flats, but very high quality. I get lots of compliments on them, but the best thing is that my feet and legs no longer ache. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ but in retrospect a 9 might have been better. My heels hurt a little when I wear them on long walks, so I think they run slightly small. I'm usually an 8.5, which is what I got, but in retrospect a 9 might have been better. Hopefully the elastic will wear out a little over time. The grounding aspect seems to work when you walk on natural earth (grass/boulders/dirt/sand), but I don't think it works as well when you walk on roads/sidewalks. I LOVE that they're vegan.
