Or how to get a replacement tool? I've tried contacting coolermaster** A: Yes! There is acually quite a simple solution to this. I had the same problem and I have heard others on some forums also suffering the same issue. You will need to be quite patient and maybe even watch a video on youtube as it can be quite a delicate process, but it can be done! Do not worry!! Firstly you will need to start to remove all of the components of your PC, leaving only the motherboard, CPU and offending cooler. Once your computer is in this state I would now recommend removing the motherboard and placing it on some cardboard on a table. The next step now is that you will more than likely need to invest in a new peice of equipment, this certain tool is much better than the tool suplied from Cool Master though and is readily available from any local hardware centre or DIY store. Once at the store, ask a friendly store assist to direct you to something called a 'Hammer' they will probably stock a variety of hammers but I found the cheapest one did the job just fine. Take the hammer to the tills, pay and bring it home. Once back with your PC you will now need to carefully secure your motherboard to the cardboard with some tape so that it doesn't move around. Once the motherboard and the cooler and CPU are completely secure, you can now begin the process. Raise up the hammer and smash the absolute F@@k out of it until the cooler becomes lose. Once it is free then do as you please with it. If you want to reattach then simply use another handy tool available from most stores, called 'Super Glue' This method may not work for everyone but it came in very helpful for myself. Excellent low profile cooling solution, easy to install and took about 5 mins in total. I built it a few months ago, before this cooler was out. Being an ITX build, a lot of coolers just don't fit and the one I used was small, but didn't keep CPU as cool as it needed to, so fan noise went up when you did much on the computer.I bought this as a replacement - but because of the RGB lighting, as I already had RGB fans for case cooling. This fits perfectly, both in size and as linking into the Asus Aura LED lighting control. I think it looks super cool and the actual cooling effect is much better - probably 25C less than the one I had in before.One word of warning - if you are thinking of putting it into an ITX case.
