Great style and great fit. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Happy feet with retro shoes *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 25 May 2018* I had been looking to buy a pair of flat sandals to wear around the office; my first thought was Birkenstocks but I was taken aback by the price. I couldn't justify this really for what amounts to flip flops! One of the suggestions on Amazon was Scholls...and the memories came flooding back!In the early 1970s I was obsessed with these; I begged my mum for a pair (wooden, beige leather and with a heel!). I didn't win that battle, but as soon as I started work (back in 1974) I bought myself a pair. Everyone at work wore them, imagine the noise with over 100 women in the office clumping around in our wooden soled shoes! I loved my Scholls, but had forgotten all about them, until now.I ordered on Amazon Prime, and there they were the next day. They are FABULOUS, just the same as before. My feet however, seem to have become a slightly different shape over the intervening years, but this is easily remedied by loosening them off a little. I still remember the mantra of 'you must be able to fit 3 fingers between the shoe and toe area' which we followed at the time! Result; perfect, comfy shoes. Size wise I remember from old you needed to get a size smaller, however I have read comments on here that said they are true to size.
