Ok, after 6 months and over 400 hours of play, my PS5 started overheating again after my dog knocked the PS5 to the floor. . Took everything apart and found the paste was starting to be more like a gum. The bond appears to have been upset when my dog knocked the PS5 to the floor. Will try again. 8-14-2025 Well it wasn't the paste, that was still good. The problem was the putty in the clamshell of the ps5 mother board. Replaced all of the putty in the clamshell with Maxtor Thermal Pad 16.8 W/mK,120x120x3.0mm.
