Review: Good product, works as intended... - The springs do exactly what they are intended to do, I saw some weird 1 star reviews saying "it's to strong", or "it's too long". They are weird because that's you buying the wrong spring, not the springs themselves. I woiuld say that with enough pressure, you can break them, but it makes sense considering that they are not so thick, but again, it's built in. If you need something more resilient, get something thicker... I used them to shut my pet gate on its own, and they do a great job with that.

The springs do exactly what they are intended to do, I saw some weird 1 star reviews saying "it's to strong", or "it's too long". They are weird because that's you buying the wrong spring, not the springs themselves. I woiuld say that with enough pressure, you can break them, but it makes sense considering that they are not so thick, but again, it's built in. If you need something more resilient, get something thicker... I used them to shut my pet gate on its own, and they do a great job with that.
