I've been practicing various arts for close to 50 years and has had pretty much every shoe on the market. They don't talk about that in their advertising but if you train in the arts, you might seriously want to check these out. Pro: they're relatively light mine came true to size they are fairly flexible but overall, very solid. if you practice a style such as Tai Qi Chuan (yes, it is a real martial art), you will love how grounded you feel in these shoes they seem to be built for the long haul. Time will tell. Con: this is kind of picky, but it would have been nice if they came with speed laces no bling factor if that's important to you. A little of both: if you do a lot of pivoting, they are grippier than the standard kung fu shoe. they are the best of the skate shoes I've tried. Finally, compared to most kung fu shoes you don't feel as though your foot is going to come out of the shoe at any moment.
