I probably only print about 10% of the time but having the easy-to-see screen is always useful. The only complaint I have about it is that the filaments in the VFD display glow red and you can see them quite easily in the dark, VFD filaments should be hot, but not hot enough to glow red as that will shorten the life of the display and cause oxidation to the filament wires.
