With Covid, I definitely didn't have the money or credit to take her to the vet that was going to cost anywhere from 1000.00 to 3000.00. I ordered this casting material. It comes in two rolls. Good thing because using luke warm water dunking the whole roll in a bowl of water set up so quick a whole roll was wasted. I suggest wrapping the area to be casted in cotton roll then apply a stockenette ,then open the package and wrap with casting material while then adding water to the casting material while wrapping. It's sticky but it will set in about 10 mins. I found by putting the water after applying each layer allowed me to make sure I smoothed out the casting material and gave me time to place my Layla's leg in a set standing position. I only used 3 layers and it's very sturdy where she is now able to get up with my assistance and go out to tend to her bathroom needs. The improvement in her was almost immediate as far as her demeanor her ears perked up and now sleeping comfortably. I definitely recommend this product.
