Review: Great dryer, only complaint was shipping cost - Having wanted a hood dryer, I researched several of the items on desertcart and found this to be the best option. The dryer itself is phenomenal, albeit large - you will need 28" wide path to be able to roll. (That is the width of the caster base) Controls are easy to use - the timer must be turned on for the motor to engage (don't just press the on switch and expect it to come on). There is an auto shut-off for when the set time is up. Heat is easily adjusted with the other dial. The heat does cycle on and off to keep temperature as set - meaning it won't heat up more than what you have chosen, as it will blow hot for a bit then blow warm and again hot, etc. The motor is definitely more powerful than I had anticipated - perhaps a bit more than my Dyson hair dryer with a diffuser on medium power. That said, it isn't blowing my hair wildly underneath the hood. Just make sure you use enough product on the top of your head, or you may experience frizzy hairs there. Assembly was a bit of a pain, as I had inadvertently covered with packing paper the star item shown in the photo that locks in the legs and base. That part is essential, as the legs don't lock into the base without it. Have a 14mm ratchet on-hand to tighten the bolt to the pole, as no wrench is provided. Once put together, the unit is stable. Height is easily adjustable with the tightening collar on the pole. The huge benefit to this model as compared to others is that the hood angle is adjustable. I use a dining chair under mine and am able to slide the base between the legs of the chair and sit comfortably underneath the dryer. My only gripe is that I did miss that shipping was extra - being a Prime member, I am accustomed to free shipping, so didn't think to look. I had credit in my account from a previous return, so late one night I just clicked through to order. What I must have missed was an option somewhere that expedited shipping and cost me $129 as opposed to the $29 stated on the page. My bad... please take note of this before you order.

My dryer is still working well and in great condition. It’s definitely salon quality. It’s also quiet which is a plus. You won’t regret this purchase

**Q: What’s the protection plan? Why isn’t this covered with a protection Plan**
A: Well, that you would have to discuss with the company that made this product.     Only they can answer that for you.

**Q: How do you connect the 2 poles?  I can't seem to fit one pole into the other because of the black plastic piece with the "fingers"?**
A: Use the smallest end of the pole. Place it inside of the plastic piece attached to the larger pole. Slide the other black piece on by placing it around the top of the pole that you attached, connect then twist. Place thr dryer hood on top of the pole making sure it's secure.

**Q: How wide is the hood**
A: I mean it’s not as wide as a profuhood dryer but it’s pretty wide. I just got my hair roller set with big rollers and it was fine.
