On bleached hair, it's amazing. The colour is always super vibrant. You may not always get the colour shown on the bottle, but that's more because of the base colour of the hair your dyeing over. I get very annoyed reading reviews from people who complain the colour wasn't the same on their hair. If your hair has yellow or orange tones in it, this will make the colour more peachy than the blue toned pink! I had this happen on my hair since it wasn't bleached perfectly evenly. Some strands are peachy. Same goes for if you dye over blue. The number one reason I prefer Adore dyes over others is that I can dilute it with conditioner and still get a lot of colour out of it. One bottle lasts me over ten applications. Currently my hair is a pastel purple and pink mix because I worked out it would be cheaper to buy two bottles, one pink and one blue, to make my own purple, rather than buying one bottle of purple. So you can mix these together to get an even greater range of shades. I'm never the same colour each month! The longer you leave it in, the brighter and more longer lasting the colour will be. This is true for unbleached hair as well. You don't have to worry about damage, this is like a conditioner that stains your hair. You do have to keep it moist though, so put a shower cap or plastic bag on top. I normally leave mine in for about an hour, but because of the pastels, I've only been leaving it in for about five minutes while showering and it still deposits colour, though it rinses out quicker. The second reason I love Adore dyes is that there is pretty much zero rub off. I can dye my hair, rinse, let it dry and not leave random colours all over my pillow. Also it doesnt say on the bottle but if your hair hasnt been bleached the dye wont stick at all. **Q: I have medium-ish brown hair. Will this product be noticeable or should I strip my hair colour first?** A: It would be noticeable it’s a very strong red I used it on black hair **Q: Is this a hair stain? A few people have recommended trying a hair stain rather than usual hair colour, it's just finding out which are stains** A: Nah, this isn't a hair stain. It washes out fairly easily. It's just that the colour is so intense it can stain the skin during dying your hair. :) **Q: Are there any ways to speed up washing it out ? Can only have it in for 2 weeks due to school rules** A: use water as hot as you can bear it, sulphate shampoos to wash your hair. I am totally in love with this dye!!! I ordered this on same day delivery as basically I'd used a different brand pink and it literally just washed out on the first wash, so I spotted this and the reviews were good so thought I'd give it a go myself... Well! It's probably the best dye I've used to date (and believe me I've used a lot) I did think the consistency was a bit weird, like fake Halloween blood lol but it was quick and easy to apply, but make sure you cover where you're doing it as it will dye what it hits. I left it on for about 45 minutes and then washed off and ran some conditioner through it as my hair is really dry anyway. Once dry I am still just as impressed, the colour is consistent all the way to the ends of my hair and its really shiny looking (as my hair is wrecked atm) the pics in this review are literally from blow drying, nothing else. You can see it's still taken in my darker blonde areas where I've separated my hair so you can see. Honestly for the price this is totally amazing!
