My older cat is immune to catnip, and could care less.** A: The label says the ingredients are "natural materials," and to me, it looks and smells just like catnip. Whatever it is, it just works. Simply mix a generous amount into litter (we have been using it with World’s Best), and it has minimal scent once incorporated. Bag was smaller than we expected for the price, but we still expect it will last about 6 months with two large litter trays for our two cats, so appears to be decent value!
