I have not bought this brand of it but if it is just like what the military buys it is awesome stuff. Puts a mirror finish on copper and brass **Q: what is the difference between the eagle one and the original polish? I need to clean aluminum frame on doors.** A: This is cotton wadding that has been treated with some oil based solvent (something like WD-40?) I once got a can of this in a grocery store auto section but it was dried out and it is useless then. It will turn black as it removes the oxidation but just keep re-folding it to expose clean areas. You can get a lot of mileage out of this stuff. I'm a fan and have used it mostly on chrome. It will also take dried tar of non-ferrous metals . I did use it on old alloy wheels - mostly aluminum, right? - and they went from dull grey to reflecting my hand almost like chrome. I keep Q-Tips in the can and they absorb some of the solvent for use in small areas. But I think the shining effect is less dramatic when the surface is not really smooth to start with - like screen door frames. My alloy wheels probably came out of the factory buffed and smooth as a baby's butt. It is a lot of manual rubbing tho. It dries to a white residue then comes off easily with terrycloth.
