The other end is a spoke clip. It clips on to your spokes so the lever can stay in place to hold the bead over the rim. A second lever can then be used to work the bead over the rim as you go around the wheel. Otherwise, the bead tends to fall right back inside the rim after you've moved to a new spot. Some people just hold the bead over the rim with their thumb and go around the rim with one lever. We get a few returns with broken spoke clips that were obviously used for prying. The spoke clip should never be used to pry with, it is not designed to take that kind of force. **Q: Are these good levers for road bike tires?** A: Used on 700/40c knobby road tires worked great just don’t go to far they will break . Mine didn’t, just remember there plastic use accordingly **Q: Would this work to get the tire off a onewheel hub?** A: After looking up changing the tire on a OneWheel and reviewing a YouTube on the subject. I would say no. I suggest a web-search: how to change the tire on a OneWheel.
