Easy to install and perfect for top lid application. They allow the top to drop at a slow pace and look nicer than the usual strut setups. very pleased even if they are a little pricey i think for the quality and other products ive used there worth the money.

It's annoying sometimes with the doors when you need to get something and need both hands but the door doesn't want to stay up.....in comes this hinge as a solution. The were easy to install, look good and are sturdy. It's nice that you can adjust them so that the door has the correct amount of slow close. I need to get some additional ones for the other cabinet doors now that I know they work well. An excellent solution for a reasonable price.

**Q: Is there a stop feature if little fingers get inside the hinge where it pinches closed?**
A: No stop feature, but the closer moves so slowly I don't think it's an issue.

**Q: Will this work to slowly lower a cabinet door?  Thanks.**
A: It was easy to install and lowers the lid to our bench top very slowly.  I'm not sure how heavy your cabinet door is so you need to research the weight capacity

**Q: Can this be installed in a soft-open mode? I have a cabinet where the door opens from the front and swings down, I want to retain the door as it hangs**
A: Yes, this support hinge can support your cabinet door and achieve soft closing when closed. There is a detailed legend in our details page. You can view the 4th large picture. Thanks!

**Q: How do I adjust the soft close?  About half way it drops hard.**
A: I do not think you can adjust the speed of the soft close (at least there are no adjustment screws and the mechanism just spins on the support before you affix the hinge arm to the lid). How fast it closes depends upon how heavy the lid is in comparison with the weight range rating of the hinge. My lid is 28 lbs. (before paint) and using 2 of the 13-16 lb. hinges works well.
