Review: A Great Upgrade to My Brita Pitcher - I wish I had learned about these charcoal sticks earlier. Upon reflection they make sense - instead of passing water just once through the crushed charcoal of a plastic filter, I can leave these charcoal sticks in my water pitcher for an extended period, where they have ample time to absorb as many impurities as possible. I use two stainless steel pitchers; I keep the pitcher containing the charcoa sticks filled with tap water, and I periodically pour this cleansed water into a second pitcher for use. This enables me to always have a large amount of cold, well-filtered water on hand while more is being cleansed. Also, the charcoal sticks don't leave any powdered residue in the water, in case you were wondering. I can often smell chlorine in my tap water, and the charcoal sticks completely remove any trace of it from scent or taste. My water is now delicious, I'm not dumping plastic filters into the trash, and my water doesn't sit for days in a dodgy plastic container. I love the simplicity and effectiveness of these charcoal sticks.
Review: G R E A T !!! - Food saver. Got tired of throwing out fruit and veg. Tried these. GREAT. Just remember to take the stuff out of the plastic or bag. Tried this with a bag of grapes. Those on top, near the stick stayed OK. Bottom of bag spoiled. Have had cucumpers in the bin w/o bag for almost a month. still firm and good.

## Features

- BINCHOTAN CHARCOAL: The Japanese have been using these as a water filter system for centuries. These traditional style sticks of charcoal purify drinking water, removing chlorine, softening the water and absorbing tastes and odours
- SIMPLE TO USE: The charcoal filter stick water filter comes ultra-sonic cleaned and ready to use. All you need to do is fill your bottle with drinking tap water and enjoy great-tasting water. Made from natural wood sticks. Dimensions vary (15 to 28mm diameter, maximum length 118mm)
- LONG LASTING: The natural carbon filter sticks have a total lifespan of 6 months each. As their effectiveness decreases, all you must do is boil the charcoal water filter sticks for 10 minutes to rejuvenate
- USE IN ANY BOTTLE: Works with any water bottle so you don't need water filter cartridges or a special filter water bottle. The charcoal filter sticks are suitable for metal and glass water bottles, carafes, jugs, and even fridge water dispensers
- HEALTHY HYDRATION: The activated charcoal water filter attracts the ions of contaminants to the surface of the carbon, and at the same time releases minerals such as calcium, iron and magnesium back into the water for a healthy way to stay hydrated

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Quality
*by S***H on November 19, 2020*

I compared and compared and recompared before buying this water filter. I read online why and how it works. I have been using other activated charcoal for other purposes for years now. This is the highest quality and lasts much longer then other activated charcoal and other types of water filters, it goes through an extra process. Takes a day or two to get use to the minerals back in the water, then after that, not a single problem. I had moved into an area that had PFOAs and PFOSs in the water, I wanted the best water filter possible. I had been using Shungite and another charcoal filter. This brand has the highest quality and longest lasting, too. I think they said they use a laser to increase it's effectiveness. Money wise, it's the best bargain. You only use 1 stick for 6 months, I think it does up to 3 gallons at a time.
