She’s timid so I assumed it would take a while to get her comfortable in them. I walked beside her for about 10 minutes and then she felt comfortable going on her own. We let her wear them inside and they haven’t scratched our floors. The rollerblades have adjustable feet size so they can grow with her and adjustable hardware to allow for more resistance which helped make my daughter more comfortable on them. I highly recommend these to any beginner.
