Sure cuts out the measuring or use of the "lipstick" method. It is a tiny bit of a struggle to get these seated evenly in the plastic electric housing boxes; however, once in they work perfect. There are six prongs that pierce the back of the sheetrock giving you perfect cutout area (provided you have your sheetrock hung correctly before the piercing process). This fits the single box but not the double. We looked at the magnet system, it just couldn't arrive in time for our sheetrock hanging "party"!
