PC-11 is not only waterproof but has excellent chemical resistance to mild acids, caustics, detergents, gasoline, fuel oil, salt and fresh water. After PC-11 has fully cured it can be sawed, sanded, tapped, drilled, machined, filed and painted. It can also be tinted when mixing. We're not going to lie - underwater repairs aren't easy and they should be avoided whenever possible, but if you're unable to carry out the repair in the dry, then we've got the tips to help make your repair a success. Use PC-Clear to re-attach pieces and PC-11 to fill holes, pits and cracks for a professional finish. For the rebuilding stage of your repair, all you’ll need is a stick/knife and board for mixing on (disposable or use methylated spirit to wipe clean after use) and sandpaper. You’ll have approx. 30 minutes to apply PC-11 to any chips or cracks. Take the time to get a finish you’re happy with. Give it a day to cure, then use fine sandpaper or a Dremel to remove the excess.
