However the socks would look great on our dog!The wood stain looks good, but the 20 screw holes do not have finishing wood plugs into each hole. So we are off to Home Depot or Lowe’s to search for wood plugs and a stain to match the step stool, along with trying to find proper step stool rubber security footing for the 4 legs. Doing this is probably less painful than boxing it up and shipping it back, followed by trying to find a proper replacement that is SAFE TO CLIMB!! If we cannot find the wood plugs and rubber footing, then we will have to box it up with its silly little “Dog” socks and ship it back for a refund. ### ⭐⭐ Bad Staining *by J***M on September 8, 2023* The wood was not sanded properly so it's rough and the stain doesn't absorb evenly. Looks terrible! Also the color is not even close to walnut it's more of a very deep (almost purple) walnut. Too late to return it because I threw the box and packaging away ...
