A: it goes from 20" to 26-27" - very versatile and comfortable, and the back is supportive.

**Q: Weight limits**
A: Weight limits was one of the crucial details that mattered when I made the decision as to which chair to purchase. My husband weighs 260+, and the chair can handle his weight without any problems. BTW: this is a fantastic chair!!

**Q: How portable is this? Can you take off the seat to transport?**
A: Yes. It’s comes in a box fully disassembled. You have to assemble it yourself. So, you can disassemble it again or just purchase it at your new location.

A: no idea, mine was perfect for my needs
