Review: Well written recap of Frankie's career up to 2015 with lots of pictures - Having read Frankie's first autobiography many years ago, as well as a very badly written biography, I thought this would be a good read. It covers his story from his arrival in England as a teenager unable to speak a word of English. It includes the highlights of his early career, including that famous "magnificent 7" at his favourite racecourse, Ascot, in September 1996, his many successes with Godolphin, details of the 2000 plane crash that he was lucky not to die in. We also read about his first Derby win on Authorised in 2007, his departure from Godolphin, the disgrace of his drugs ban, during which he appeared on Celebrity Big Brother, his comeback with former boss John Gosden, his 2nd Derby winner, this time for that stable in 2015 on Golden Horn, who won several Group 1s, including the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe, and so much more. There are lots of great pictures too. I am now looking forward to reading the upcoming autobiography by the man himself. 5 stars for an entertaining read, which most fans will enjoy. Review: A good read for race fans - Bought as present for my wife. She is now on her third read.
