One odd thing it does on occasion is one or two of the cubes will freeze taller than the other cubes giving you a clear 2" x 2 1/2" cube. Not a big deal as I usually run hot on them to get them down to size. If you follow directions, this thing works consistently. Must use hot water when filling the plastic tray. Recommend 48 hours of freezing as 24 isn't usually enough.
