I love Robotech, and this vehicle looks amazing!! I would have given it 5 stars, but it’s actually really small. Maybe 7-9 inches tall? The detail is great and the accessories with it, but for over $100, and mostly plastic, I would’ve expected it to be maybe a full 12 inches tall at least, as a real display piece. Kinda like the size of the old Autobot Jetstream. Definitely a beautiful piece, but not at the $120-150 price range.

It's important to know that most of the model is PVC and only some minor parts are die-cast.The model is very easy to transform, but keep in mind that the instructions are mostly in Japanese, so you should use a camera-translating app for some of the more complicated steps.Great model overall. 100% recommended.

HI-METAL R のVF-1Sバルキリー、しかもTV版後半の主人公機。久々にマクロスファーストシリーズの再始動か！と喜んだ。今回は脇腹のすき間を埋めるパーツが付属。バトロイド時の見た目がとても良くなった。＝だが、肩部分のパーツに引き続き変形時の着脱パーツが増えた。悪い面ではないが完全変形からはどんどん遠のいていく。機体色はグレー系をやめ、真っ白な白色。スーパーパーツは設定画にあったグリーン系のカラーに合わせる。＝今回のカラーはHI-METALの前身、タカトク 1/55・スーパーバルキリーのオマージュか。でも従来発売機からボディ色が変わるパターンは引き継いで欲しくなかった。今回はうれしいTV版ヒカルのパイロットフィギュア付き。キャノピーは新たなスモーク色を採用。＝でもフィギュアがほとんど見えなくなるから今回のキャノピーは失敗。それにしてもボディ色以上に目立つキャノピー色を商品で模索するのはやめてほしい。HI-METAL Rもまもなく8年。毎回、その時々に最高の商品を届けてくれている。今後に期待します。

フォッカーの遺志継ぐ一条輝がカッコイイ

METAL感はありませんが、ファイター、ガウォーク、バトロイドともにプロポーションの再現度が素晴らしい。パーツの接合保持もよく考えられています。スーパーパーツの出来も良く、劇中さながらのかっこよさ。

価格の差もあるけれど、ザブングルや、ダグラムシリーズと比べるとあまりにもチープだと思います。変形も微妙な感じです。
