I've just received mine, and it says on the back of the product that it is suitable for leg areas only. Why is this?** A: Be careful.I do use them on my arms, but as they have quite a rough finish, if you use them whilst brand new, or too forcefully, you will hurt yourself, whether or your arms or legs. What I do is, gently rub 2 new pads against each other for 1 second or 2 max (it softens them enough so they don't scratch the skin). Then I LIGHTLY buff the hair using a circular motion (you should barely feel it on your skin) As a guideline for a first time use, I would recommend spending about 10-15 seconds on a whole forearm: I would not buff for more than 2 seconds on a single spot. Most of the hair will remain, but it will be severely damaged. The following day, if you feel no irritation whatsoever on your skin, repeat the same procedure (not longer). Eventually, and within a matter of days, the hair will desintegrate and disappear, and then use to maintain the result you desire.If you start feeling any kind of irritation, it means you have either applied too much pressure or spent too long buffing: give your skin a break until all irritation has gone and start again, being more gentle this time.After each buffing session, use a good moisturiser. My legs are very dry and scaly, moisturising alone does not do very much.I have been using these for a few weeks now and I am happy with the results. My legs are smoother, no longer scaly or overly dry. I would say they are fantastic for exfoliation.I don’t feel like I am spending ages using these, I would say about 5 minutes in total for both legs. Maybe a little longer when you add in the cool face cloth and moisturising after wards.I have extremely sensitive skin on my legs. Lots of hair removal methods leave my legs red, itchy and sore. There is a little sting after using these. It does not last long if you follow the aftercare results stated on the back of the packet. I am not left with any redness or itching.It says to use once a week. For me, this does not keep leg hair at bay. I need to shave once a week also to keep things right.Overall, I am impressed for the exfoliating alone.
