Tarte Shape Tape is one of those makeup products I keep coming back to. Literally the ONLY concealer I’ll use. A little goes a long way, and it blends really well. I don’t even use foundation with it, it does enough on its own and it’s not cakey or too thick. It’s very high quality. Also, because a little goes a long way, the bottle lasts for years - I use it lightly every day but also use it very heavily during performing events, which I do one or two every month, and it lasts SO long. My mom was a professional makeup artist for 35 years for brands like Bobbi Brown, MAC, Channel, Esteé Lauder, Dior - you name it. She recommended this to me when I was like 14 and just getting into makeup, and I’ve used it ever since. I also got to try out all those brands because she would give me free samples, and I also have used plenty of drug store brands - this is still the best one by far. I used to do cosplay several times a week and used it heavily, and it not only held up all day and was sweat proof, but it lasted a very long time with heavy frequent usage. I’m 26 now and have only ever had to buy a handful of these in 12 years. Not to mention, I have very sensitive skin, and this has NEVER given me a bad reaction or made me break out or even clog my pores. Not only that, but it matches my skin perfectly and there’s no discoloration or color difference between my bare skin and the parts with concealer. It blends really well. I swear by this concealer, it’s amazing.
