Beautiful amazing smoked fish on a stove top
The media could not be loaded. By the way the pan starts to turn black after the first time but they say that's normal it's the pants seasoning itself it's kind of a bronzy color but the food tastes wonderful and yes a little bit of smoke leaks out of it but not enough like I could stand in the kitchen while cooking and I'm not dying and I'm at asthmatic so yesterday I cook salmon today I cook tuna and did a quick video for you guys because this stuff is amazing that salmon yesterday tasted So Divine I can't wait to eat the tuna today

Looks sort of flimsy, but WORKS GREAT!
This thing is really easy to use, and smokes stuff worry free. We use it for fish, but it would likely work well with other meats. Just sprinkle in some of the wood flakes, put in the food, place it over any burner on your stove (the flakes are in the center, so that's the only part that needs to get hot), turn on medium heat, and in 20 - 30 minutes you've got a smoked and cooked dish ready to eat. Also, it doesn't throw off as much smoke as you might think. Just a little leaks out of one end.Note: The metal is thick enough to work just fine on an induction stove.

A Very Good Stovetop Smoker For Indoor Use
I don't know why other reviewers complained about the top of this smoker not fitting properly. I have used mine 3 times & the lid slid into place and came off with no problems every time. You definitely need to line the bottom of the smoker with a double layer of heavy-duty tin foil for easy clean-up. And make sure the foil doesn't reach above the top lip of the smoker, otherwise you will have problems sliding the lid on. But this smoker worked like a charm! I had never used a smoker before & I'm a city girl, so I was worried about too much smoke leaking out & setting off the alarm in my apartment. But I put on the exhaust fan, opened my kitchen window about 2 in. & all was well. With the lid completely closed, very little smoke leaked out. I smoked scallops the first time I used it, then I smoked a 2.5 lb. piece of pork belly for bacon, both times with delicious results. The third time I smoked raw duck eggs & they turned out very tasty also. I recently upgraded to a better quality stovetop smoker so I can smoke larger items. But I will definitely keep this Cameron smoker for future use. If you like smoked meats but don't have an outdoor grill, this stovetop smoker is just what you need.

Smokin' fool
I love smoked vegtibles, fish, and game. In the summer I fire up a grill or barrel smoker at least a couple of times a week. In the fall, harvest time, even more often.I live in Ohio where the weather gets bitter cold in January and February. I find myself cooking outside less often on those cold windy days. This is the idea behind the purchase of this stove top smoker.I tried out the stove top smoker with onions. Something simple and inexpensive should results be less than desirable. I used a tablespoon of the sawdust included in the package, and did nothing more than peel and quarter the onions.I have a gas range and used the medium low fire setting. The smoke started up within two minutes. I like a deep pantina, the onions took 45 minutes.I knew the lid would not contain 100% of the smoke, but I found out that I have to "tweek" the lid a bit more to reduce smoke escape. I made this trial run in September, on a mild day so I could comfortably open the windows. The pros-Easy setup/clean upEconomical to own and operateMinimum storage spaceGreat smoke flow within the chamberOutstanding results, food wise.. great color and tasteMany additional cooking options, (not yet tested.)The cons-The escaping smoke, even after tweeking, is a bit more than expected. A long slow smoked food would compromise air quality in a medium to small kitchen. Ventilation is needed to keep the smoke from being overwhelming. That said, I turned on a box fan to draw air in from a side room, and a ceiling fan in the dining room on the other side to lessen the smoke. This kept my daughter, who's eyes are very sensitive to smoke, from watering.I may cover the pan entirely in foil on days not practical to vent outside air. Will I recommend this stove top smoker? Yes!Would I buy again? Yes!Will I use it in the tiny fishing cabin on an ice fishing trip? Nope!

BOTH Not new
I received a smoker that was dirty, and dented. Given that I was going to use this for outdoor cooking, I'm not really opposed to having a dented, pre used smoker, but I absolutely do mind being charged full price for a used item, and I do mind being mislead about what I was buying. :-(That said, the smoker seemed otherwise just fine. Came with a small amount of wood, a gridle, a lid, and a manual, and it was packaged well for shipping. I would have kept it if it had been listed and priced appropriately for a used item.Update:The replacement smoker arrived also damaged and clearly used. The packaging had been opened, there was a big dent on the side, and there were still remnants of someone else's cooking on the edges and the top of the lid! The little package of oak had also clearly been opened. Returning again, and I guess I'll have to buy a smoker elsewhere!

Great product
I ordered the mini because it's just me. I also ordered a second one for my son and I think he'll really like it!So far I've used it for a Costco chicken breast (huge) and a Costco pork chop. Wow, did they ever come out really tender and flavorful! Next up, Costco steaks!

OMG! FANTASTIC!
We have all of our friends and family buying one of these. My husband asks me every time we cook salmon in it why we were eating salmon the wrong way all our lives. It’s so easy! It’s so fast (20 minutes start to finish) the pan is easy to clean! It’s a life changer. And when you cook (salmon. We don’t eat meat so can’t attest to that) but when we cook salmon for anyone they run out and buy one for themselves.Caveat: be sure no matter which size you buy, that you get the delux… you definitely want the handle and the drip pan. Happy eating!

Did not work near as well as it said made a horrible mess. If I can give a minute I would and if I could return it I would.
