Its ONLY A FLAT SELF ADHESIVE, and it does not rely on sitting in any sort of groove. So if you have a flat surface it will stick, Just need to let it over hang a little, and the blade will trim off to the correct position,. Hope this helps, John Millward. **Q: How wide and thick is the 1400T** A: The strip fits into the groove on the plate which is a reset section, and extra bit it cut off to match the blade, as mine is already. fitted, I am not to sure the much was removed, 5mm/10mm. Thickness 3mm **Q: How long is it** A: The FS-SP 5000/T is 5mtr long, Ref No 495209, There is a 1.4 mtr as well, Ref 495207. These are the only sizes for the track saw.
