In addition, as doing so I have seen many different pairs of heat resistant and cut-resistant gloves of all types.All of the gloves that I have used made many different claims, most of which is just a lot of boasting. Now with that in mind here is my review of the Midas gloves.As usual I was skeptical of the claims that this glove would fit my large hands. Usually a glove that says it is XXL for its size will seldom fit me at all. In addition, the cuff on the glove comes over the wrist quite well giving Extra Protection as you can see by the pictures.I tested these gloves all the way up to 650 degrees or so. I was able to hold onto a pizza stone for 3 1/2 minutes barely feeling the Heat. Even at that time the Heat was tolerable. I am guessing that the temperature inside the gloves was about 105 to 110 degrees.As far as using the gloves in an open flame I did not want to chance burning the gloves.The silicone used on the gloves for slip resistance works extremely well. They will work on a wet pot all the way to a pizza stone. Being a dual-sided slip resistant glove you do not have to worry if you were in a rush, which hand the glove, has to go on. This makes it nice when you have to make a quick decision in the kitchen.I am guessing that these gloves would easily take a hot item up to 700 degrees or even more. As a professional I seldom had to use gloves up to that temperature. As far as gloves go I would have to rate these gloves easily in the top 10% of the gloves that I have used over my 30-plus years as a chef. Without a doubt I would recommend these to my best friends in the business. It is nice to have a glove that works so well and I hope that they will work as well over the years ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Heat resistant *by S***R on Reviewed in the United States on November 24, 2018* Couldn't find a guide so I bought the large. I have rather small hands. I wear mens medium motorcycle gloves. But for oven mits, the large works. I probably could have fit into the mediums, but the large works. They are comfortable (and roomy). Because of the textured outside, and individual fingers, grip is rather good. I have tried them so far with my toaster oven, which is notorious for being hot nearly everywhere on the outside as well a on the inside and they work very well. I didn't feel any heat transmitted through.
