Not heavy on pocket like metal lanyards are ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent design, secure and convenient *by G***D on August 14, 2024* The key feature of thsi keychain hub is the fidlock magetic latch. The only way to take it off is to pull the tab. Otherwise, it just won't come off no matter how you pull or shake the thing. Because of the strong magnet, it's so easy to put it back on and secure it. Comparing this with the 8Timber version, I think it mostly boils down to usage. If you need to hook , then the carabiner (8Timber) version would work better. But if you are like me and one to clip it to a pocket (i.e. an interiod pocket of a backpack or sling bag), then this Alpaka Hub (clip version) would work better. Also, this is so much lighter than the 8Timber carabiner version. I don't mind it being plastic since I will be using it inside a bag most of the time. An interesting fact is that you can interchange the keyring portion between Alpaka and 8Timber , which is a good thing if you have both. There are two things I wish it could be improved: 1. The clip is quick thick. It would be nice if it can be slimmed down a bit. 2. The pull tab is a bit too thin. 8Timber's silicone pull tab feels more substantial and easily to "find" (when reaching inside a bag without looking).
