I wanted to like this compass as it is well made and very accurate. However, I have lousy vision and I can't see the lubber line. The compass card isn't white, but has a greenish tint, considerably decreasing the contrast with the headings. Finally, inexplicably, the Bezel is a grey / silver plastic with black numerals, making quick reading impossible (for me). Great compass if you have great vision. ### ⭐ Very dissapointed in how it lasted *by M***E on April 2, 2014* Bought the Suunto SK7 wrist mount about a year and half ago. Had about 40ish dives on it when it crapped out. Plastic lubber line cover lost its seal and miner oil leaked out and salt water leached into the housing. The last couple of days of the latest dive trip, we went on several shore dives where there was a lot of sand getting into the equipment when coming ashore. Bezel was a little hard to turn at that time but considering what I paid for this compass I thought it would have held up better than it did. Contacted Suunto North America and Aqualung customer support and was told by both that the one year warranty had expired and I had no option of replacement. The only option was to repair the compass. After reading about a lot of people raving about this compass on line, I was really disappointed in it not being able to handle a little adverse conditions especially for the premium price that you pay for them. I was really expecting to get a lot of years of use from this compass.
