Review: Great adhesive for laying vinyl tiles - I was looking for a sensibly-priced glue to stick some Amtico vinyl tiles down in a shower room (onto moisture-resistant chipboard). The Amtico adhesives are very expensive so I tried Evo Stik 873 Flooring Adhesive, based on positive reviews on desertcart, and it being a trusted brand. The adhesive was excellent. It has a low odour (water-based) and has the consistency of a smooth yogurt, so is easy to spread. As someone has already commented, use the smaller serrated edge of the supplied spreader (meant for contact adhesive) or you will get too much adhesive on the floor, which will ooze out between the tile joins. If you do get adhesive on the face of the tile it will clean off easily with a wet piece of kitchen roll (as long as it hasn't set). Much easier to clean off hands and tools than solvent-based adhesives. Takes a while to set, so leave it 24 hours to be sure. I used masking tape, stretched across each joint, to ensure the tiles didn't drift apart whilst they set.

**Q: Can I use this product to stick vinyl sheet flooring to my concrete floor?**
A: Yes, but you need to make sure that the concrete is sealed with a pva 'wash' and totally dust free :)

A: Yes we used it on a concrete floor

**Q: Will this stick wooden floor pieces to a wooden underlay?**
A: I was gluing carpet, so can not confirm 100%, however it sticks to everything it touches)

**Q: Will this be suitable for rubber back floor tiles to stick on concrete**
A: I have used this on carpet tiles with a firbrous backing only. I can't give you a difinitive assurance, but the back of the container lists linolium, latex foam or jute backed  carpeting. .... it can also be used on porous floors or concrete... up to you how you take that.

Great product, really easy to lay the laminate on, i found it easier to apply to the back of the boards rather than the floor. Just need a decent spreader to go with it. has been down for a while now and flooring seems to be well secure still. Was one of the cheaper options but definitely did the job
