Secure barely retention, comb hatch stores 3 magazine with no rattling. Grip has small storage- fits a Bic lighter. I have the Stainless version matched with olive color stock color. Added qd inserts and a sling. Great high quality product. Review: Great custom addition for 10/22 takedown - This is an outstanding addition to a 10/22 takedown rifle. Very simple to install; attaches via the two machine screws standard on the rifle. The foregrip is somewhat shorter than the stock 10/22 foregrip, but easy to get used to. One of the best features is the storage hatch in the butt of the stock that will hold three, 10-round mags. Comes with optional cheek riser for an optic, and a standard-height riser (these are the door of the storage hatch). Also a water-tight storage area in the hand grip for ammo or other. No barrel strap is needed on the foregrip (like the standard stock), and the barrel only makes contact with the stock at two small points. Very compact when collapsed and fits together securely for compact transport. I have this stock on two 10/22 takedowns - one with the older vertical-style case and one with the newer horizontal style case. Fits very well in both cases, much more compactly than with the standard stock. I have red dot sites on both and these still fit in the cases easily. The FDE color looks great with the stainless rifle and I have a grey stock on the black rifle. The grey color stock isn't my favorite as it has a lot of bluish-tint to it, but still looks good. Highly recommended. ## Features - Takes the function of our full-size hunter X-22 takedown, and pares it down for ease of storage and transportation; drop-in design compatible with all factory Ruger 10/22 takedown - Offers a minimalist solution for the hunter or outdoorsman who wants to Transport their rifle in an efficient, convenient package without compromising Shooting Performance - Unique locking interface to attach the barrel assembly to the stock body when being transported - Reinforced polymer construction for strength and durability; Ergonomic hand guard - Comes with interchangeable standard and "optic height" Cheek risers; hinged storage compartment in the stock capable of storing up to 3 spare 10Rd magazines ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B06Y3W3PFW | | Barrel Material Type | Aluminum | | Best Sellers Rank | #76,034 in Sports & Outdoors ( See Top 100 in Sports & Outdoors ) #46 in Air Rifles #6,840 in Hunting Equipment | | Brand | Magpul | | Brand Name | Magpul | | Caliber | 0.22 | | Color | Olive Drab Green | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 1,304 Reviews | | Frame Material | Plastic | | Frame Material Type | Plastic | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00840815117209 | | Included Components | X-22 Backpacker Stock for Ruger 10/22 Takedown, Olive Drab Green | | Item Type Name | Fixed Stock | | Item Weight | 1.7 Pounds | | Manufacturer | Magpul Industries Corp. | | Manufacturer Part Number | MAG808-ODG | | Model Name | Hunter X-22 | | Model Number | MAG808 | | UPC | 840815117209 | | Warranty Description | Manufacturer | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Magpul - **Color:** Olive Drab Green - **Item Weight:** 1.7 Pounds - **Barrel Material Type:** Aluminum - **Frame Material:** Plastic - **UPC:** 840815117209 - **Manufacturer:** RSR Group, Inc - **Global Trade Identification Number:** 00840815117209 - **Model Name:** Hunter X-22 ## Images ![Magpul Unisex Hunter X-22 - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41rJLNXGM3L.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color, Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Why is the color listed as Khaki when the title says Black?** A: Perhaps its comes in multiple colors **Q: Will this stock fit multiple barrels?** A: The stock has a cradle that you can flip and use with either the Bull Barrel or the "pencil" barrel **Q: How fast dose it go** A: 2 doses of fast and then another 2 every 4 hours. **Q: Will this work with a stock barrel?
