I can power the Nebula from a power bank and watch movies saved on a thumb drive all from the Nebula’s single micro USB port. **Q: Can I connect this to my Ethernet adapter through it's power port that is already connected to my Firestick?** A: yes you can **Q: it says it wont charge a tablet or phone then why does it have a power port then it makes no since** A: The power connection goes to the thing you have plugged in and not the tablet or phone. **Q: Does this work with 2nd generation fire sticks with os 5 firmware? it seems to require os 6 or above?** A: I can't say for sure, but my guess would be, in either model that the wiring/pinout would be the same for each model, so if that is the case, the cord shoud work.
