**Q: Is there any chance these would cling tightly to STONE? Want to use to hang netting to block a balcony off for cats.**
A: I don't think so.  Pretty sure it needs a smooth surface.

**Q: Can you paint these? I really want black hooks but I need them to be damage free like these ones.**
A: I don’t know about the paint, but I am going to try it.  Also, the last person that answered you is incorrect, IMO. I have had this hook holding a step ladder for a year and it’s still going strong. We take the step ladder off and on the hook almost every day. I’m so happy with the product that I’m buying more.

**Q: How long has it been on your wall without falling? What kind of walls (painted or Bathroom tiles etc)?**
A: Over a year on a painted wall. I have used them before and I highly recommend them. Removing them is a breeze and doesn't damage the paint.

**Q: Are these Command hooks large enough to hold a curtain rod or do I need the large timeless brushed nickel hook with 1.625" d?**
A: No they won't . They disappointed me because they fall off easily they can't bare any weight
