Did you buy the ROLL Recovery R8 Plus at a store? If you roll it onto your leg it will easily open up. To see how we have education videos below: https://rollrecovery.com/pages/education **Q: Does the adjustment knob decrease the pressure significantly enough to use this one rather than the previous model without the adjustment knob?** A: I only have the adjustable one, so I can't compare between the two. I will say that I am over 65 and can only use the R8+ with the adjustment knob set to "minimum" - otherwise, the pressure is too much. I also had to order the "Super Plush" rollers, as I found the ones that came with the roller too hard. I am very happy with the setup I have, though. I use it on my legs and arms, and it the almost as good as getting a massage. There are times when, even with the setting to "minimum", I have to pull the rollers apart from each other a little in order to decrease the pressure (when rolling over my shins, for example). **Q: Does this come with extra rollers?** A: Hi - thank you for your question! THANK YOU !!!! ### ⭐⭐⭐ Review *by A***H on 12 February 2025* If you have any upper body injury’s or are in recovery after a training session this isn’t great as it requires a fair bit of work to open. Muscles should be massaged in the direction of the heart ideally so that means opening the device repeatedly when in use which is quite a bit of work. It’s a quality device which is well built. Functionality wise it’s great to use on someone else or have someone use on you but seems expensive for what it is.
