Dont use too often but would say battery is good. My only advise, dont get hooked on to constantly using this, always feel the baby and go from there, this can send some parents esepcially new parents crazy to constantly check but if baby is comfortable/uncomfortbale and clothed comfrotbaly and feeling the chest/back of neck is cold/warm/fine then you can generally go from there.
