They definitely need to be placed on a plate or cookie sheet before filling as they are very flimsy which causes spilling when transferring to the fridge. You get a good number of worms per silicone mold which is awesome. Worms come with a smile! Droppers work well for filling, easy enough for my 3 year old to do independently. 2 sizes of worms per sheet, too. Standard butter knife in photo for size reference. We did have a few break when getting them out. I noticed that the worms we filled all the way to the max were easiest to get out without issues. Very fun to use. Easy to clean— popped mine in the dishwasher no problems.
